The Saw Is Family – Themed Knife Prop!
This is a completely new and original Forbidden Props collector blade design! The knife is an 18″ prop knife with a chainsaw blade (blade length is 13″) featuring scenes and characters from many of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies over the years! Beginning with the first movie released in 1974: five friends travel to Texas to visit their grandfather’s potentially vandalized grave. Sally Hardesty and her brother Franklin encounter a dangerous hitchhiker who injures them with a knife. Later, they seek help at a nearby ominous house, unaware it belongs to Leatherface, a cannibalistic killer, and his deranged family. The friends are gruesomely murdered one by one. Sally manages to escape from Leatherface’s clutches, desperately trying to evade his chainsaw. This chilling story draws inspiration from the true crimes of Ed Gein.
This prop knife is made of a high density wood blade and wooden handle but still has some slight flex unlike cheaper plastic/resin cast knives. The knife overall has our signature weather and distressing to make it look old/used/abused and like it hopped right off of the movie screen!
